  • Supported planning MOPEX workshop
  • Applied SAC, SWB and NOAH models to 11 French Basins
  • Obtained a priori and calibrated model runs for 8 models applied to 12 basins
  • Analyzed data sets submitted to the workshop
  • Assisted in the execution of the workshop
  • Re-analyzed all of the results of the previous MOPEX workshop held in Sapporo, July, 2003

Developed new a priori parameter estimation procedures for the hydrologic parameters of the Noah model.

Presentations to special sessions and scientific meetings

  • Presented project results at meetings of AGU, AMS, EGU, etc.

Operation of MOPEX ftp and web sites

  • Continued to operate MOPEX ftp and web sites. Updated data sets on the ftp site

Planning for MOPEX 2005 workshop

  • Initiated planning for MOPEX 2005 workshop at the IAHS meeting in Foz do Iguacu, April, 2005

Update historical US data sets

  • Obtained additional data to support updating MOPEX data sets for about 438 US basins.
  • Updated data sets on the ftp site

Special Issue of Journal of Hydrology

  • Assisted in the development of a special MOPEX issue of the Journal of Hydrology.

FY2005 Statement of Work

MOPEX 2005 workshop at the IAHS meeting in Foz do Iguacu, April, 2005

  • Support planning MOPEX workshop
  • Continue analysis of SAC, SWB and NOAH models for French and US Basins
  • Assist execution of the workshop
