Outlook Forum of West Africa (PRESAO) - The organization of PRESAOs
in West Africa is a collaborative effort between the ACMAD and the World
Meteorological Organization (WMO), the United States Assistance for International
Development's Office for Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID-OFDA), the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Office of Global Programs
(NOAA-OGP) and major climate modeling centers such the International Research
Institute for Climate Prediction (IRI), UK Met. Office and Meteo France,
and the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services of the West
African Region.

Workshop on Climate Prediction and Agriculture Advances and Challenges - The
goal of the workshop is to review the advances made during the past five
years in seasonal climate prediction and its application to decision-making
in agriculture, and identify the challenges to be addressed in the next
